Elizabeth Hayes, a Baton Rouge, LA native, attended Louisiana State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering. She then returned to earn a Master in Business Administration. Before joining United Way of Greater Baytown Area & Chambers County, she worked at First United Methodist Church as the Director of Missions and Revive225, a program that focuses on helping people stay in the homes by providing needed repairs free of charge to the homeowner. She managed the annual mission activities and trips; the nonprofit funding program and oversaw partnerships with other local nonprofit organizations. In her new role with United Way, she will coordinate the major gift program and oversee the grant management process that will ultimately help fund the work of the organization.
