Driven by her passion for advocacy and community service, she earned a Bachelor of Social Work at the University of Wyoming. She has dabbled with a couple of industries including Health and Life Insurance Sales and eventually landed the position of managing Family Promise of Albany County, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting unhoused families and overseeing Wyoming's largest diaper and hygiene pantry.
It was during this time that she was introduced to the impactful world of United Way. She was drawn to the UW’s approach of tackling community needs head-on. She is fueled by the opportunity to address critical community issues on a macro scale. Rather than focusing on individual causes, she is now able to work on making the entire community better—a mission that really speaks to her.
In Kaylynn’s downtime, you can find her hanging out with her animals, working on freelance website projects, or painting / drawing.
