Read in Color is a reading initiative giving students and families access to diverse and inclusive books.
United Way of Greater Baytown Area and Chambers County is dedicated to promoting education and diversity throughout our community. By stewarding Little Free Libraries in our area, your United Way is breaking barriers to equitable education by making books available to readers of all ages.
Not only is it important for students to have access to books at home, it is also important to have diverse and inclusive titles and authors available to readers. This February, your United Way would like to partner with you to collect and distribute new and gently used books that promote inclusivity and diversity in Baytown and Chambers County. Please join us in giving thousands of children access to books at home and school, helping to create a more equitable environment for learning.
If you would like to partner with us, please check the link provided below to purchase a book that will go towards our Little Free Libraries.
