Saturday, Nov. 17, is the new date for the first United Way of Baytown Area Community Kickball Tournament. On its original Sept. 29 date, the event was rained out.
The public is encouraged to come watch the fun. Admission is free for spectators. Attractions and family fun, such as face painting and games, will be free.
Proceeds from concession sales will benefit community Kindergarten readiness initiatives by United Way and numerous partner organizations.
Tournament play will begin at 9 a.m. Nov. 17 at Wayne Gray Sports Complex, 5117 North Main in Baytown. Arrival time for team members is by or before 8:30 a.m. at the Lee College tent for registration.
Tournament sponsors include City of Baytown, ExxonMobil and Lee College.
